Product Care & Materials
PRODUCT CARE
Advice on jewelry care and maintenance.
Store in a dry, sealed space. Keep your jewelry in a dry place, ideally in the sealed plastic bag provided. Silver is a living material and will naturally change over time. Storing it in a sealed bag helps prevent oxidation. Store separately to avoid scratches.
Avoid direct contact with water. Always remove your jewelry when washing your hands or showering.
Keep away from harmful products. Avoid direct contact with substances that can damage your jewelry, such as soap, hand sanitizer, perfume, oils, and moisturizers. Make-up, perfume, and hairspray contain chemicals that may dull your jewelry’s finish. Avoid harsh household products. Chlorine, chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and detergents can tarnish or damage your jewelry.
Note that gold plating is not permanent. Gold plating wears off over time, and its longevity varies depending on the acidity of an individual’s skin. We offer gold plating refresh services for a fee, depending on the size of the item. Please contact our customer care team or visit one of our stores for assistance.
Use a silver-cleaning bath. For both silver and gold-plated pieces, a silver-cleaning bath can help restore shine. Dry with a soft cloth and finish with an anti-tarnish cloth for extra polish.
Handle with care. Be gentle when opening or closing earrings and chains. Avoid yanking or pulling chains, as these pieces are made from soft materials and can break easily.
SIZE GUIDE
Finding the right ring size without trying the ring on can be difficult! However, you just need another ring that fits you.
To measure your ring size, use a ruler to measure the diameter of the ring on the inside and check our size guide under your preferred ring, to see which size fits you.
MATERIALS
Jewelry is made to be worn - every day or on special occasions. Whether often worn or resting for a while, each piece will age with you, and its surface will gently change in character over time.
925 STERLING SILVER
925 STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver is a living material. It evolves over time, responding to its surroundings. When exposed to air, moisture, light, or perfume, it may darken slightly or develop soft yellow, grey, or brownish tones - gentle changes that reflect its natural character.
To care for your jewelry, we recommend storing it in one of our small airtight bags when not in use. This will help protect it from the elements that cause oxidation and tarnish, allowing it to age naturally.
925 SILVER - 14K GOLDPLATED
925 SILVER - 14K GOLDPLATED
Our gold-plated pieces are made with 14K gold. Over time, the plating may fade slightly, depending on how the piece is worn and your skin’s natural chemistry. Rings are particularly exposed to change, as they come into frequent contact with other surfaces throughout the day.
To care for your jewelry, we recommend storing it in one of our small airtight bags when not in use. Avoid washing your hands, showering, or allowing your gold-plated pieces to come into contact with water, perfume or chemicals.
Should your gold plating fade over time, we’re happy to assist with replating. The price depends on the surface and will be provided upon request.

BRASS PLATINUM PLATED
BRASS PLATINUM PLATED
Our platinum plated pieces are crafted with a brass base and a fine layer of platinum, chosen for its durability, strength, and subtle shine. Platinum is a highly valued and widely used material in jewelry making, known for its hardness and resistance to tarnish. While the surface is resilient, small signs of wear may appear over time, especially where the jewelry meets the skin or other surfaces.
Brass is a lightweight material that forms an essential part of our collection. Its lightness allows our designs to take on a more generous scale - for instance, earrings can be created in larger silhouettes without becoming too heavy to wear, as they might if crafted in silver or gold.
To preserve its finish, we recommend storing your piece in one of our small airtight bags when not in use, and gently wiping it with a soft cloth after wearing.
Should your platinum plating fade over time, we’re happy to assist with replating. The price depends on the surface and will be provided upon request. Please contact customercare@trinetuxenjewelry.com if you wish to have your piece restored.
BRASS – GOLDPLATED 14K
BRASS – GOLDPLATED 14K
A selection of our pieces are crafted in brass with a 14K gold plating. Like all jewelry, they will gently change over time. With daily wear and contact with natural skin oils, the gold layer may gradually soften in tone.

STONE NECKLACES
STONE NECKLACES
Our stone necklaces are crafted with either steel wire, silk or nylon thread, depending on the design. Both materials are chosen for their strength and flexibility, yet over time the thread may naturally soften or stretch slightly as it evolves with wear.
To care for your necklace, we recommend folding it gently and storing it in the sealed plastic bag and box provided at purchase. Avoid wearing your necklace while bathing or swimming, as water can weaken the thread over time.
Each piece is made to accompany you for years to come, and with mindful care, it will continue to hold both its beauty and character.
SOLID GOLD
SOLID GOLD
Our solid gold pieces are made to stay with you - to be worn, loved, and passed on. Over time, their surface will deepen in character, becoming more personal as they follow you through daily life.
To care for your gold jewelry, we recommend keeping it in a soft pouch or an airtight bag when not in use, and giving it a gentle polish from time to time to maintain its natural glow.
